Market Harborough is a rare example of a planned medieval ‘new town’. It was created in the 12th century especially to be a market and to promote local trade. Markets are still held in the town on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8.30am – 5.00pm, with an Antiques Market on Sundays.

The town offers the ideal place to head for a range of well-known high street shops, independent boutiques and a range of restaurants and pubs. The town is steeped in history with the St Dionysious Church and old Grammar School located in the centre of the town.
