Enjoy a great day out exploring one of the country’s largest maize mazes, set in 8 acres of living maize crop with 4 miles of paths to navigate and explore; it’s great exercise for mind and body!
See if you can unravel the QUIZ TRAIL, and find all 10 boards hidden in the maze in order to decipher the secret code. The maze also incorporates 10ft high bridges and viewing towers which give visitors stunning 3D panoramic views over the maze and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Bridge 61, Foxton
Bridge 61 is a small traditional canal-side pub situated right at the bottom of the locks. It is a great place to relax and unwind whilst watching the boats go by. Open every day of the year and serving a variety of local Cask Marqued real ales, specialty ciders, hot drinks, snacks & meals. Set in what is thought to be the old accommodation quarters for the workers of the Inclined Plane, it is decorated with traditional canal artefacts, has an open fire for the colder months and you will be served through a small hatch in the wall!
We welcome well behaved dogs (on leads please) and well behaved children and we also don’t mind if your boots are a bit muddy too! Dog treats are available and we also have a selection of human treats in the form of light meals, snacks and specials. For a sample of our menu, please click here.
