This year we have 33 race meetings (22 flat and 11 National Hunt). During the summer months we will be hosting a variety of themed evenings ranging from comedian nights to burlesque dancers. Our headline feature fixture this year will be our Smooth Radio Ladies Day featuring the fantastic Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet lead singer) who will be singing live with his band after the racing. Nothing quite matches the excitement of a flutter so make sure you book a date to join us at some point this year for all the fun and excitement.

Bridge 61, Foxton
Bridge 61 is a small traditional canal-side pub situated right at the bottom of the locks. It is a great place to relax and unwind whilst watching the boats go by. Open every day of the year and serving a variety of local Cask Marqued real ales, specialty ciders, hot drinks, snacks & meals. Set in what is thought to be the old accommodation quarters for the workers of the Inclined Plane, it is decorated with traditional canal artefacts, has an open fire for the colder months and you will be served through a small hatch in the wall!
We welcome well behaved dogs (on leads please) and well behaved children and we also don’t mind if your boots are a bit muddy too! Dog treats are available and we also have a selection of human treats in the form of light meals, snacks and specials. For a sample of our menu, please click here.

The Red Lion, Great Bowden
Set in the heart of the picturesque village of Great Bowden, this charming country pub has recently been refurbished, with interiors and decor that beautifully reflect the surrounding countryside.
The team here are passionate about sustainability and high-quality meat. Where possible, they use meat from their own farm in Great Easton to create their dishes. Most ingredients are sourced locally as well, which means the menu can change slightly from day to day depending on what’s freshly available.
There’s also a great selection of drinks to enjoy alongside your meal — from real ales and lagers on tap to an impressive range of wines and champagne. Teas, coffees, and soft drinks are also available.
If you’re looking for something a little different, their cocktails and ever-popular spritzers are well worth exploring.
