The newly finished 18 Hole Championship course with is breathtaking views over Rutland Water has to be on of the countries finest New Golf Courses – with a yardage of 6816 off the whites and challenging undulating greens it is a good test of skill for the lowest handicapper but remains a friendly pay and play course with a pleasant atmosphere.

Originally laid out in the 1920s by the grandparents of the current owner, the garden has been developed gradually by subsequent generations to its present state, where in 2019 it was voted as ‘The Nation’s Favourite Garden’ in a poll conducted by the English Garden magazine in conjunction with the National Garden Scheme. Since 1991 it has been tended by Susie Pasley-Tyler, recently joined by her younger daughter, Imogen.
