Cottesbrooke Hall
Cottesbrooke Hall is an 18th century house set in delightful award-winning gardens in rural Northamptonshire, just north of Northampton. The house and gardens are open to the public from 2 May to 27 September.
Tours of the house are led by expert guides showing off the house’s exceptional family portraits, making the visit a truly unique experience. The award-winning gardens surround the house and are laid out as a series of planted ‘rooms’ and are well worth a visit.

Foxton Locks Inn
Foxton Locks – Restaurant nestled at the bottom of the famous staircase of 10 locks on the Grand Union Canal, this picturesque inn is the perfect place to enjoy a pint and some excellent food, whilst exploring the history and beauty of the Foxton Locks country park. A great family pub Foxton Locks Inn is child friendly complete with baby changing facilities and provides a separate children’s menu. Dogs are very welcome on the heated terrace and at specially assigned tables inside – so there is no need for dog walkers to go without (please let us know when making a reservation if your dog(s) will be joining you.
