Althorpe House, the burial place of Princess Diana, is a stately home located in the rolling Northamptonshire countryside just five miles north of Northampton.
The house is open to the public for the months of July to August and all profits go to Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. There is plenty to do on the estate including a walk to the house down a tree-lined avenue and a newly remodeled open garden.
In the house you can explore 19 rooms including some of the family’s private rooms. The house boasts one of Europe’s finest private collections of furniture, painting and ceramics.

Victoria Centre
Nottingham loves to shop! Having consistently been ranked as one of the UK’s leading retail centres, the city has earned an enviable reputation for excellent shopping facilities. Nottingham is highly regarded in the world of fashion design: after all, this is the dress-to-impress city where local lad Paul Smith opened his first shop. The original store remains in Byard Lane and is now surrounded by other famous designer stores such as Vivienne Westwood, Hugo Boss, Kurt Geiger, and Ted Baker!

Rutland Nursery
In May 2023, they opened the doors to a new development of beautifully designed buildings at the rear of the site, nearest to Rutland Water. The space includes a large lifestyle shop, a 100-seater restaurant, and a striking glasshouse.
With a focus on offering something truly unique, they’ve curated a collection of beautiful items inspired by nature, life, art, and creativity — all with the aim of inspiring and informing everyone who visits.
These themes continue through a range of events and workshops held throughout the year in their wellbeing space, The Loft, which also hosts regular yoga and Pilates classes.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout most of the site, with the exception of the lifestyle shop.
